woot! A Shambling Mesa dropped a sapphire o.o

wiki doesn't say sapphire on 'Items dropped' section:

Sapphires and Rubies can drop from every monster ingame, so those drops are not recorded on the wiki.

Farm Rock Beetles and Rain Beetles for Geodes if you want to get rubies and sapphires the cheap way. Rare salvage is said gems.

Saphires and rubies can drop from almost any foe, it's just really really really......ect rare

When Sapphs and Rubies were first added i got once from a Devourer outside Old AC..it was only worth 300g at the time though

People have gotten sapphires in the tutorial area in Factions (where you're still level 1). It's odd, but not impossible.
